Lately I have had a desire to return to the glory days, I hope at least one other person is with me (Davey I'm looking in your direction). Even with my unlimited love for alonetone, I miss the more intimate forum, where I can post works in progress to a select audience of musicians and expect love with constructive criticism and not just  compulsory praise. I'm not knocking the alonetone positivism, I love it, but frankly I don't really want criticism there, and that's my point. I view alonetone as a place for songs that are done (or at least songs that I don't really intend to revisit anytime soon), and I don't necessarily want to hear what I should have done differently. Also, alonetone is the place where I release my recordings. If I put them up as they progress, it takes away a bit of the thrill of finalizing the project and introducing a completed work to the community. Essentially I crave the intimate space modernthings offered. And as long as the bill is still being flipped, we might as well use it.

Much love to all you modern things and lone tones.

I'm game!
Su, is that throat clearing in preparation for the aria you are about to sing to the forum?

What is life if not a series of steps towards some common destination?

Hi, it's me, gordon (glu). I'm not really an alien invader, I actually had a MT account about 5 years ago that laid fallow due to me being out of touch with Sudara when he decided to become faux European. I'm taking a hiatus from alonetone but wanted to keep contact with the original MT crew. I think a small coterie such as this one is exactly what I need right now. I've enjoyed
reading several of the discussions on the forums over the past few years so I thank you all for enriching my mind. Let's rekindle the fire here, eh?

Excited to see you here Glu! I hope you check out my post on the project with McD because I'd love your input. This baby is gassed up and ready to ride.

Hi Brandon, thanks for the warm welcome. I found the thread about your project with McD and I'm really digging the darker ethereal mood. I'm up to my neck in school work right now but I plan to write up some detailed reactions to the mp3s very soon. Loving the sound so far, Cheers!
